More Than a Team. A Development Program.
The LAB Rats are the youth baseball development arm of CC Athletics Group. Our program is designed around long-term player development rather than simply chasing trophies and weekend wins.
Athletes receive instruction in hitting, throwing, pitching, fielding, athletic performance, baseball IQ, situational baseball and game preparation.
We believe success comes through consistent work, quality coaching, accountability, preparation and learning how to compete the right way.
Building Complete Baseball Players
Our athletes receive development beyond traditional team practices. We train the complete player.
Hitting
Swing development, timing, approach, pitch recognition and competitive at-bats.
Pitching & Throwing
Throwing development, pitching mechanics, command and arm care.
Defense
Footwork, glove work, fielding fundamentals and positional development.
Athletic Performance
Speed, coordination, balance, strength, movement and athleticism.
Baseball IQ
Situational baseball, baserunning, responsibilities and decision-making.
Player Homework
Assignments reinforce concepts taught during training and practice.
Competition
Games and tournaments allow athletes to apply development under pressure.
Character
Accountability, teamwork, leadership, respect and communication.

Meet the athletes representing the LAB Rats Baseball program.
Titus Williamson
Titus loves baseball, football, swimming and playing video games. His favorite subjects in school are math and gym, and his favorite food is pizza.
His proudest baseball moment was hitting a home run. Titus is looking forward to working hard, continuing to improve and winning a lot of games with his LAB Rats teammates.
Rex Van Sickle
Rex enjoys baseball, taekwondo, flag football, reading books, riding roller coasters and spending time with his family. He loves science and math.
One of Rex's proudest baseball moments was hitting a two-run double in the sixth inning of a tournament semifinal.
With the LAB Rats, Rex is looking forward to meeting new friends and continuing to improve his baseball knowledge and skills.
Greyson Fernandez
Greyson enjoys video games, swimming, baseball and spending time with friends and family. His favorite subjects are math and science.
His favorite baseball moment so far was hitting the walk-off single that secured the WYBSL championship during the spring 2024 season.
Greyson is looking forward to improving his fielding, developing more power at the plate and building long-term friendships.
Braxton Williams
Braxton enjoys drawing and building LEGOs. His favorite subject is math, and some of his favorite foods are pizza and hot dogs.
His proudest baseball moment was delivering a game-winning hit that helped his team advance to the playoffs.
Braxton is looking forward to becoming a better baseball player and meeting new teammates and friends.
Remi Rishe
Remi enjoys baseball, gaga ball, bike riding and spending time with the animals on his family's farm. His favorite subjects are math and technology.
His favorite baseball memory is winning his first championship with Coach Zeb.
Remi is looking forward to having fun, learning new skills and continuing to improve what he already knows.
Harrison Nobles
Harrison's favorite hobby is whichever sport he is playing at the moment. His favorite subject is math, and his favorite food is Chipotle.
His proudest baseball moment was hitting his first triple.
With the LAB Rats, Harrison is looking forward to having fun, competing and becoming a better baseball player.
Zachariah Jackson
Zach loves sports, especially baseball and basketball, and also enjoys reading. His favorite subjects are math and science, and his favorite foods are tacos and pizza.
One of Zach's proudest baseball accomplishments is hitting for the cycle.
Zach is looking forward to continuing to improve, growing together as a LAB Rats family, earning more wins and making new friends.
Xavier Durbin
Meet Xavier — one of the silliest kids you'll find on a baseball field. If you can't spot him right away, look for the player dancing between plays and making his teammates laugh.
Although this will be his first season on the roster, the LAB Rats have already felt like family after spending the past year training alongside many of his new teammates.
Away from baseball, Xavier loves math, working out, riding bikes, ramen and inventing gadgets out of things most people would throw away.
Xavier is ready for baseball, hard work, belly laughs, dance breaks and plenty of memories with his LAB Rats family.

Ryan Curl
Head Coach and founder of the LAB Rats development program. Focus areas include hitting, fielding, player development, athletic performance, baseball IQ and overall program development.
Levi Hammond
Responsible for pitching development, throwing progressions, arm-care education and helping pitchers build healthy and efficient throwing habits.
